Tacos that dare to be different

DF Tacos recently switched up it’s proposition and offering. Throwing the rule book out of the window, dialling up flavour, personality and attitude.

For this a new look and creative direction was needed. I crafted a 360 design approach, which leans into analogue, through a combination of soft hand drawn typography, bold typographic compositions and raw flash photography.

Design in action

The new design direction is brought to life across assets such as a full menu suite, merchandise and marketing assets, and social content.

Typographic designs for posters and merchandise were inspired by iconic band line up t-shirts, showcasing the new offering.

DF’s new menus use bold recognisable typography as a signature look. The simplified internal layouts are designed to be user friendly. Key call outs to must try dishes facilitate engaging customer participation.

The vibe

The ambition for DF Tacos is to create a friendly, inclusive brand. One that is about enjoying seriously good food, with an easy going attitude.

360 Design

All touch points across the brand have been redesigned to create moments that speak to one another without being the same. This leaves room for play and individuality.

The uniforms are now limited edition merch, with multiple designs for the team to choose from and style as their own.
