Mexican Inspired Lager

Sir Veza is a new Mexican-inspired, British brewed and Carbon Negative lager.

This project involved developing the brand identity and packaging design.

The brand name ‘Sir Veza’ is word play on the Spanish word for beer, cerveza. The ‘Sir’ character was key to illustrating this.

The dip pen and ink illustrations speak to British heritage and tradition, the patterned socks a nod to iconic British eccentricity.

The design employs a Mexican inspired colour palette of acidic tones. This offer a contemporary sensibility which speaks to the innovative planet conscious production.

I aimed for the design to communicate the feeling of bringing a little bit of your recent adventures to your everyday. Brightly coloured socks, and a squeeze of lime in a pint of British brewed lager.
